Constipation continues to be a very popular topic around the world on my channel. This week I will show you an easy way to massage your tummy, without using your hands, for gas and constipation. When I first saw this, I was like “Duh” but it really works.
If you tend to have bloating and constipation, do this every night before you go to bed.
You simply lie face down and breathe deeply for 5-10 minutes.
You may want to put something under your forehead too so you can breathe comfortably. If you have this face cradle Prone Pillow by Oakworks it would be the best but I didn’t have it around.
Put a cushion or pillow around the belly button to make it more effective.
If this causes you any pain in the lower back or any joints, don’t do this. Also, avoid doing this for 2-3 hours after you eat.
You are simply massaging your tummy with your weight and breathing movement. This activates the peristalsis which is a wave-life movement of the intestine. It’s the peristalsis that moves the gas and waste inside the long intestine.
After 5-10 minutes, roll your body side to side 10 times. You don’t have to do it too much. Just enough to cause more movement in the tummy. If this bothers your knee caps, bend your knees and roll side to side.
