Rub Me Massage Bar Review (Massage Monday #516)

I was researching oils for massage and I came across a massage oil in a solid form. This week I’m going to review this Rub Me Massage Bar.

Hi everyone, I am Yasuko and it’s time for Massage Monday. I never really talked about different oils for massage so I was researching different oils. And I came across this massage oil in a solid form. This week I’m going to review this Rub Me Massage Bar.

There were several kinds but I got the Lavender one because lavender is for relaxation and just felt like lavender sounded good at the time of purchase. It’s pretty small. It fits in your palm. It is 2 oz or 56 grams. And I just noticed myself distancing it. It says “Body heat releases the intoxicating scent of our all-natural massage bar, made with pure cocoa and shea butters. Ingredients it only has Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Essential oil.

Let’s open it up. Smells really nice lavender. Inside the foil there is another paper It’s pretty hard. When I touch it, it feels like it starts to melt already. So I’m going to apply on my arm to see if it’s going to melt. Both cocoa butter and shea butter are solid at room temperature. As soon as I put it on my arm it starts to melt. It’s not drippy or anything but it’s gliding. Pretty good. It’s definitely melting with the body temperature very quickly.

So I’m going to see how it’s like to be massaging with this. I’m going to do the stripping technique with my thumb. Yeah it’s pretty good. It glides really well. And I smell the intoxicating scent. I didn’t count and I don’t remember how many times I glided. I’ll watch the video later but it glides really well. It’s pretty slippery. Maybe I did too much. I’m going to try on the other side.

I’m just going to do one time this time. Yeah I think one time is enough. And it’s pretty waxy. When you massage something you can move the massage hand. And you can also move the receiving hand to make it more interesting.

Now my hands are pretty greasy so I’m going to put it on my legs. It’s pretty impressive. I wonder how many massages this can give. Since you only need one glide to lubricate the area I think many times.

Both cocoa butter and shea butter are high in fatty acids and they nourish your skin or hydrate your skin.

Just by holding this it starts to melt. I’im going to put it back in the paper and wrap it back up. I think I’m going to put this in a plastic bag or ziploc because it gets pretty greasy outside. And my hands are greasy again so I’m going to put it on the other leg.

I think this would be great for travel instead of carrying an oil in a liquid form now you can carry it in a solid form. We all know how it’s like to travel with liquids. It can leak in high altitude if you’re not careful. Or just hassle passing the security and stuff. This makes it one less liquid to carry. And as I mentioned this is very hydrating so you can use it for massage or moisturizer.

This was $7.50. The thing is, at the time of making this video, I could only find this at a toy store for adults. I’ll put the link here but don’t worry it came in a discreet packaging and I wasn’t hit with the retargeting ads left and right like you do with other sites.

So you can use this Rub Me Massage Bar to massage yourself, massage your partner, or just as a moisturizer. If you want to learn how to massage your partner, I have a free massage guide with video. You can check it out from the link here.
